To be obedient to God it helps to have a godly reverence and fear of God. Then we can receive His blessings. The Bible says that godly fear is to hate evil. So when we do that and submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives the blessings that follow include God prolonging our life, God preserving us, delivering us, healing us and accepting us.
